Application Forms
Required documents and the typical timeline to switch supply to Rockport Power.
Overview
Application requirements vary slightly by program but follow a common pattern: a completed application, supporting commercial documentation, recent consumption history, and a Customer Choice Notice to authorise the supplier switch with the distribution utility. We coordinate the paperwork end-to-end and own the relationship with the DU.
Typical timeline
From initial inquiry to first invoice under the new supply arrangement is usually 4–8 weeks, depending on the DU’s switch schedule, contract negotiation pace, and the completeness of the consumption data we receive at the start.
Where to start
Send us your last 12 months of consumption data and a brief description of your facility. We come back with a contestability confirmation, a recommended plan structure, and an indicative proposal within a few business days. Submit the inquiry form or contact us directly.
Frequently asked questions
What documents do I need to apply?
Prepare your latest twelve months of billing statements or interval consumption data, business permit and corporate registration documents, and valid identification for the authorised representative who will sign the supply contract and Customer Choice Notice. Rockport Power coordinates the remaining paperwork with your distribution utility.
How long does the application process take?
From complete documents to an indicative proposal typically takes about five to seven business days. The full switch then follows the standard RCOA process — roughly 30 to 60 days for existing contestable customers, and longer for first-time switches that require metering upgrades and enrollment.
What is a Customer Choice Notice?
It is the document that authorises the supplier switch with your distribution utility, formally recording your decision to take supply from a retail electricity supplier. Rockport Power prepares the notice as part of the application package and files it alongside the DU’s switching requirements.
Will my power be interrupted during the switch?
No. Switching changes your supplier, not the physical network. Your distribution utility continues delivering electricity over the same lines throughout the transition, and your account moves to retail supply without disruption to operations — the same commitment described in our switching guidelines.
Where do I start my application?
Submit the application form with your facility details, or send your last twelve months of consumption data to Rockport Power directly. We respond with a contestability confirmation, a recommended plan structure, and an indicative proposal, then coordinate the paperwork end to end.

The Customer Choice Programs (CCP) let qualified Philippine businesses — single facilities with at least 100 kW average peak demand, or aggregated groups reaching 100 kW — choose their electricity supplier through three pathways: CREM, GEOP, and RAP. Rockport Power, Inc., an ERC-licensed retail electricity supplier, serves all three.
Retail Electricity Market
Source power from the wholesale market through a licensed retail supplier with settlement and billing handled for you.
Green Energy Option Program
Match your consumption with renewable energy and reduce your facility’s emissions footprint.
