What We Offer

Switching made simple.

A smooth transition to better electricity options — guided every step of the way.

What is switching?

"Switching" refers to changing your electricity supplier — whether from your Distribution Utility (DU) to a Retail Electricity Supplier (RES), or from one RES to another.

It enables your business to explore better pricing, more flexible terms, and sustainable energy options, without affecting the reliability of your power supply.

How long does switching take?

Existing contestable customers (regular switching)

Approximately 30–60 days from contract signing to supply start.

New contestable customers (first-time switching)

Approximately 90–180 days, which may include metering upgrades and enrollment steps.

Even with different program requirements, the process can be simplified for customers:

Switching in three simple steps.

  1. 1

    Assessment & Proposal

We review your electricity consumption, confirm eligibility, and recommend the best supply option based on your cost and operational needs.

  2. 2

    Contracting & Enrollment

Once you confirm, we handle the necessary documentation, coordinate enrollment with market operators, and process regulatory requirements.

  3. 3

    Transition & Supply Start

Your account is switched to retail supply, and your service begins — without disruption to your operations.

While the overall process is similar, each CCP has specific eligibility and setup requirements:

Program-Specific Requirements

CREM — Competitive Retail Electricity Market

  • Must be a contestable customer (≥ 100 kW average peak demand per facility).
  • Installation of an interval meter (AMI or equivalent).
  • Completion of RCOA enrollment and switching documentation.
  • Direct contracting with a licensed RES.

GEOP — Green Energy Option Program

  • Must meet minimum demand threshold (typically ≥ 100 kW, subject to ERC rules).
  • Enrollment under the GEOP framework.
  • Compliance with renewable energy sourcing guidelines.
  • Required metering and system registration.

RAP — Retail Aggregation Program

  • Aggregated demand of at least 100 kW combined from multiple customers.
  • Customers must be within the same DU franchise area.
  • Each participating facility must have eligible metering.
  • Enrollment facilitated through an RES acting as aggregator.
